Covid-19 Related Cancellation Policy and Refund of Booking Deposits

When you book a villa with me, the terms & conditions are provided by the owner of that specific villa. I spoke with each owner about the upcoming season and the uncertainty that troubles many holiday makers when it comes to paying a booking deposit for a house, to which you might not be able to get to if a new lock down is declared or a travel warning is announced and your flight gets cancelled. The Greek Ministry of Tourism recommends to issue a voucher valid for 18 months and a refund of your money after that period in case it was impossible to attend your holiday until then, but most of the villa owners I work with, are much more considerate. Nearly all villa owners will accept your cancellation and return your entire booking deposit. In some cases a small fee might be charged for costs that the owner had in order to prepare the villa for your arrival, but generally speaking, you can rest assured that you will get all your money back.

There are a few owners who can not offer a refund, so please double check with us when you book your holiday villa. Even though a new lock-down seems unlikely at this point, you may be well advised taking out an insurance that will cover your cancellation fees in such a case.

In any case you can rest assured that I will do my best to protect your money and your holiday. If you have any questions or doubts, please talk to me.
