This romantic villa is the perfect holiday house for honeymooners or couples who like to unwind in a house with ample space and a calm, beautiful surrounding.

You enter the property from the street to a large courtyard with dining and sitting areas, which feature three attractive outdoor alcoves that have been carved out of the mountain side. The courtyard is open and has a beautiful view over the mountain and the village but it is still intimate and not overlooked.

The alcoves featured outside are continued into the house with one in the kitchen for the dining area.

The traditional kitchen area is built out of old  "rescued" tiles which add a feeling of authenticity even though this is a newly built property.

Stairs from the kitchen lead to the living room on the first floor. This  is a wonderful, open space, full of light with plenty of windows offering beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and the valley down to Vlichos.

A third person can sleep on the sofa bed in the airconditioned living room with ceining vans, too. If so, a voile curtain can be added to give the feeling of privacy.

The beautifully decorated bedroom has air conditioning as well as a ceiling fan. The bathroom has plenty of daylight and consists of WC and shower. For a refreshening shower between sun bathing or after returning from the sea, there is also an outdoor shower in the courtyard.

Hydra, and this romantic villa in specific, offers a charming vacation in an atmosphere hard to find elsewhere and the property is ideal for romantic couples who appreciate a private house in a secluded area, far away from international all-inclusive tourism. Cars or bikes are not allowed on this island, so visitors to Hydra should have an average level of fitness. The port of Hydra is barely a 15 minute walk and the beach of Kamini is just a 5-8 minute walk away. Very close to the house you have two grocery stores and five very good restaurants/tavernas.
