This independent 120 sqm villa was completed in 2006 and though it is located in the middle of the Aegean in Syros, the capital of the Cyclades islands, in its setup and decoration very much reflects the owner’s association with the oriental philosophy and lifestyle.

Villa Zen can accommodate a total of 6, featuring two bedrooms, one with a double canopy bed and one with two singles, plus a queen size pull-out couch in the spacious living room to accommodate another 2 people. The master bedroom has the one bathroom ensuite, in the bedroom, itself and there are another 1 1/2 bathrooms for he rest of the guests.

All the furniture in the house comes from SouthEast Asia, featuring unique antique pieces in mahogany and teak wood. A fully equipped kitchen is available and from the windows of its circular dining hall, guests can enjoy a breathtaking sea view of the Aegean even on the windiest day.

The villa features a large protected front yard, plus a 12 X 5.5 meter swimming pool. The house is only 80 meters from the sea with an unobstructed view of the water, the closest beach is a 3 minute drive away, as is to the main town, a true architectural jewel or port and airport.

Therefore, Villa Zen offers both of two worlds: peace and seclusion on the one hand and accessibility to an exciting cosmopolitan island on the other.
