Traditional Neoclassical Villa in Symi
This beautiful Villa of neoclassical architecture is located at the foot of the steps from the capital and only 5 minutes on foot from the harbour where taxi boats depart to the beaches, but the villa itself is surrounded by hills and quiet countryside.
The house overlooks the village and the most picturesque part of the port with its old clock tower and the white Yachts.
The neo-classical villa, built in 1880, accommodates up to 8 people in four bedrooms, two of them upstairs and two in the ground floor apartment. Each floor also has a living room, bathroom and a kitchen as well as access to outdoor sitting areas.
The upper apartment has a stylish living room with a dining area which seats up to eight around a walnut wooden table. This room opens onto a balcony with stunning views over the harbour and the sea towards the rolling hills of Turkey only four miles away. With windows on both sides, there is always a fresh breeze through the house. There are two bedrooms upstairs - both in the fascinating Greek mousandra style - with wooden staircases leading to the double beds.
The downstairs apartment offers complete privacy with its patio. The living room as well as the kitchen have direct access to this delightful area. The spacious double beds are in typical Symian style and placed on wooden platforms giving plenty of storage space in the drawers and cupboards underneath.
