This original Santorini property consists of two individual units, side by side, sharing the same outside courtyard and magical volcano view.

The houses are original early 1920s buildings excavated in the traditional tunnel form manner in the volcanic Santorini rock and were recently restored offering new comfort and originality.

The houses feature 7 meter vaulted ceilings which, combined with authentic island furniture, promise not only a pleasing living environment but also natural air conditioning!

Each unit has one main bedroom and one bathroom. The unit on the right hand side has an extra "pre-ambule" that can serve as a children's bedroom. However, due to the oblong construction of the unit, access to the main bedroom that is at the very end of the unit, is by default made through this sleeping area. The unit on the right has also one main bedroom and extra guests find comfort in the living room.

Access to the houses is from the descending main walkway, some 50 steps, so it is advised only for those seeking an active vacation.

However, once there, it is a totally different world, one of beauty and peace. The house is located in a neighborhood under all the hustle and bustle of Fira, yet close enough to restaurants, bars, shops (through sets of stairsways).

As for the world famous Santorini sunset, let others cram the bars or look for parking to watch it: you pop the Santorini wine bottle open (and Santorini has made mighty good wine for 3,000 years now), sit on your private pebble stone mosaic yard and enjoy! We will let YOU tell us about it...
