A charmingly beautiful villa with private pool for rent in Lefkas (Lefkada) - Greece

Tucked away in an olive grove at the end of the lush green Sivota Bay, right in front of a small pebbly beach, this villa shares this perfect location and magnificent scenery with this villa, however, it's smaller sister is set back and slightly elevated, so that privacy is granted. Both villas have their own pool and private garden and are totally independent, only the gate to the property is shared.

The 145 m² villa comfortably hosts up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms.

As we enter the villa, we find ourselves in the living room with open plan kitchen and dining area. The 4 bedrooms and the 2 bathrooms are spread over 2 levels offering privacy within the family or group of friends who stay at the villa.

The villa is decorated with works of art and exquisite artifacts. The wooden ceilings and the view to the sea create a romantic, peaceful and luxurious atmosphere.

Facilities

The villa has a large private pool (40m²) on a spacious terrace with sun beds, umbrellas, armchairs, external shower and outside dining area.

The villa has a modern low-noise central air-conditioning with cooling, heating and ventilation.

Location

Sivota fishing village has all the amenities for a relaxed self-catering holiday. There are several restaurants and cafes, a supermarket, a pebbly beach, great nature to explore and sailing trips are offered. The local infrastructure and the vast offer of activities will keep you busy for several days without even hiring a car. Having said that, we do recommend making the effort to visit the stunningly beautiful beaches on the west-coast.

Getting to the Villa

Preveza, Aktio Airport (PVK) is the nearest airport approx 50 km drive from the villa. Flights from many UK airports operate from May till the end of October. Flights from Holland and Scandinavian countries also come to Preveza. UK flight are usually on Sundays, Fridays and Wednesdays. Flights from Holland are on Saturdays.

The Nearest port to Italy is in Igoumenitsa 140 km.

About Lefkas (Lefkada)

Lefkada (or Lefkas) is an island in the Ionian Sea off the west coast of Greece, connected to the mainland by a long causeway. Lefkada is famous for its long sandy beaches, the forested mountains and the several idyllic bays and little islands nearby.

Best beaches

At the west side of the island there is a series of breathtaking beaches with crystal blue water and white sand. Porto Katsiki with its unique rock formations, isolated Egremni, Kathisma with the unreal turquoise water and picturesque Agios Nikitas will never disappoint the visitor. A new road links the south and the west side of the island making these beaches easily accessible from Sivota.

Wind Surfing / Kite Surfing

Vassiliki, a paradise for wind/kite surfing enthusiasts, is only 10 km from Sivota. The thermal winds are present every afternoon during the summer and a series of well organized clubs will satisfy both beginners and advanced surfers.

Sailing/Boating

The idyllic bays of Lefkada, the little islands of Meganisi, Scorpios, Kalamos and Madouri along with the larger ones like Ithaki and Kefalonia are the perfect sailing waters. Sivota with its small marina and the boat slip is the best place to combine sailing or boating and staying in a seaside villa.
