Nearby villages, such as Stylos (6 km away) and Armeni (5 km away) might also interest you because of their natural beauty. There you may choose to rest under the great plane trees by the river and have lunch. The lake of Kournas (9 km away) has rich flora and fauna; it is registered in the Natura 2000 project as a protected habitat. Approximately 9 km farther away is Vamos, the administrative capital of the county, is a registered traditional community with refurbished traditional buildings that house taverns, coffee shops and small guesthouses.
